1m x 50cm pothole and 20cm deep pothole
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7176829.
This pothole has been here for months. Operatives came out to fix it on 21/02 but couldn’t as it was full of water. They sat there, for 6 hours, on their phones, doing nothing in their three vans, and then drove away, leaving the pot holes unfixed. When we asked what they were doing, they replied they were ‘unauthorised’ to remove the water from the potholes, but were waiting for an authorised contractor to do so. Yet on 22/02 received notification on the report that the defect has been fixed. It hasn’t but is increasing in size daily.

A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the photo/s and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 18.5 days.
