  • Drain still blocked. Water running down road constantly and now causing road surface to break up making it rather dangerous for cyclists and those either impaired vision.

  • Did your investigator visit the right location? As you can see from the two reports on the 8th March and my photos the issue is a BLOCKED DRAIN which needs unblocking!! If your investigator would like to call me on 07767672112 (David) I would be very happy to meet him and discuss what the problem is. There isn't a single person who walks down Dark Lane that can't see what the issue is immediately. Problem needs fixing before there is an accident.

  • Itis possible that your inspector went to the wrong location as the drain in question is still full of silt and water is bypassing the drain in question. The location is a few metres north of the junction between Dark Lane and the driveway to Vetnor House, this drain is not detailed on the map of drains in Braunston. Because of the length of time this has been happening the road surfaceis now breaking up and when weather is very cold ice form and is a danger to motorists and pedestrians alike

  • Why didn't your inspector call me as I suggested. His visit would have been much more successful. I gave you many name, telephone number and an offer to assist. I can see it is not worth engaging with you on this matter further. Can I ask; 1. Where can I take this further? You say "if it is urgent please call us"....on what telephone number can I call you? 2. What does "An initial drainage investigation has been raised and will be undertaken within 28 days" mean? Regards David
