Likely blocked ditches and lack of drainage

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7253866.

Report of regular flooding on the corner of Orchard Way, by no. 16. This is reported be likely due to problems with local drainage system - possibly the ditches are blocked or otherwise obstructed. There is thick overgrowth getting to the ditch so likely part of the issue with drainage.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 55.5 days.
