Leftover temporary fencing from recent works

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7274301.

Some leftover temporary barriers from finished works have been left on the central reservation with the traffic lights on the A43. This is roughly half way between the Round Spinney roundabout and the roundabout near Lidl. By the left turning to the new housing estate.

  • Caller advised this has still not been actioned since the 13/03/25, spoke to Andy to be told this would be resolved but this is yet to be updated. If an update can be given on this report to see what actioned can be made as this has been ongoing issue which has not resolved since December 2024.

  • Investigation: Completed (Highways to Monitor, Routine Inspection Programme) - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 14 days. Once the permanent repairs are complete, the reported temporary barriers will be removed and taken away.
