Problems with accessibility

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7438572.
Sorry I am not sure which section my problem should go in, but hopefully if this department can't help, then you would be kind enough to direct me to who can.
I am a wheelchair user and got off at the stop by Matalan, frustratingly due to the extremely steep path leading from the bus stop to Weedon road, I was unable to go that way. Even going further along towards the roundabout by Wickses, this pathway down was still rather steep, making it dangerous for me. Please could you let me know if a suitable accessible pathway is an option, as something which could be put in.
Many thanks

Investigation: Completed (Highways to Monitor, Routine Inspection Programme) - Thank you for your enquiry.
In the UK, the maximum recommended incline for footways accessible to wheelchair users is generally 8% (1 in 12), or a gradient of 1:12. While a steeper gradient of 1:10 may be considered in very limited situations, gradients above 1:12 are generally considered hazardous and not accessible. Ramps are designed to accommodate these inclines and provide smooth transitions between levels.
The tarmac ramp section from the bus stop to Weedon Road (opposite Matalan) was created in 2012 and the further diagonal route into the rear of the bus stop was added in 2022, both of these adhering to the relevant design regulations. For more information about our services, please visit https://www.westnorthants.gov.uk/ parking-roads-and-transport
