Brambles grown over foot/cycle path

Reported via mobile in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 13:14, Tue 15 April 2025

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7438621.

Brambles have encroached on the footpath /cyclepath , the red line is very the footpath edge is. It’s on a bend so as bikes come round the bend they cannot see pedestrians and vice versa. I have witnessed several near misses . This was trimmed back about a year ago but not by nearly enough so it needs to go back to fully reinstate the full path width teacher the red line is.

  • Brambles seriously overhanging pathway and forming a blind bend when e-scooters come round at same time as pedestrians. Looks like someone has had a go at hacking some of the growth back themselves.

  • This was first reported on 15th April , about 80 days ago. It’s on a shared cycle/pedestrian path there is seriously reduced visibility. I think there have been three visits to come and look at it , it’s about a 30 minute job. With respect, can you not just get on with it before someone gets badly hurt?
