Kerb features
Reported via mobile in the Obstruction (Not Vegetation) category by Neil Goosey at 14:36, Sun 20 April 2025
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council 2 days, 20 hours, 8 minutes later. ref: 7457704.
The owners of 15 Lyncrest Avenue have a drive for 3/4 vehicles. They drive over the footpath to gain access to their drive but have not obtained authority for a drop kerb.
In lieu of due process they have placed items in the highway to allow them access without bumping the kerb.
I am not sure if this is permitted on the local authority highway. If they are permitted who is responsible if damage is caused to vehicles. I have hit this twice due to the narrow roadway.
Please could this be determined upon.
