Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the flooding has been assessed and requires a Priority 4 response. We will schedule drainage investigation work to be completed within 26 weeks. When the investigation has been completed, we will inform you of our findings and course of action. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 is 47 days.

This has been reported twice now that I know of, over 2 months apart yet nothing has been done. This is just 1 of 3 drains, all nearby each other that are blocked, all reported at the same time. And may I ask, what is a Priority 4?...like I'm supposed to know. Can I have an answer as to why, please? If no reply is forthcoming, I feel an official complaint is required before anything happens. 26 weeks is far too long considering that takes us into January 2026. Add 2 month on to that from first reporting it. Total is 8 months. Is that acceptable from KIER?

In 26 weeks it will be well into winter with heavier rainfall. Water running down a strong gradient on Mill Lane will create a river and a skid pan if it ices over. This is just one of 3 drains close together that are ALL blocked. Why your qualified Highways engineer didn't notice that is a question on its own. I would strongly suggest a re-evaluation of the 3 drains as reported several months ago.

An inspector visited but said that because it was classified as a ' 26 week to be fixed ' it will take time.
I said that I had reported it late last year before the onset of winter.
Inspector said that there was no report of it.
I wonder what happened to that report.
3 drains are blocked in all.
I feel KIER are not doing their job as why would the report go missing?
3 drains blocked for at least EIGHT MONTHS even though they were reported.

No update. Just need it sorted. It's been too long. (All 3 drains were reported blocked at the same time last year and are within 20 metres of each other) Presumably, all 3 will be cleaned at the same time to save having to return and not waste money?

Work on this has been successfully completed. You quote a report of 7th May 2025 but this was a repeat request to repair the drain. For whatever reason my previous request of several months before (believed December 2024) was not apparent on your system. That is my only issue.
