Bridleway overgrown with nettles

Reported via mobile in the Passage-Obstructed/Overgrown category anonymously at 07:12, Thu 8 May 2025

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7537751.

The Bridleway from Admirals Way to the Norton/Dodford side of borough hill is now overgrown with nettles and brambles. Large sections have joined from both sides making it impossible to pass without being heavily stung/scratched.

The areas require strimming/spraying to keep access before they get too out of control.

  • On 07.05.25 I cycled the route outlined, I can confirm that the nettles and brambles have grown out of control, making it impossible to pass without being stung or skin scratched. This is the case from where you join the bridleway at Admirals Way to the turning down to Borough Hill Farm.
