Hedge encroaching pavement
Reported via mobile in the Overgrown Private Vegetation category anonymously at 14:33, Friday 9 May 2025
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7545841.
The hedge is well in excess of the property boundary as demonstrated by the neighbouring property in the photo. Every year the hedge then encroaches onto the pavement, which is narrow and sloped. If the hedge was cut back to the boundary like the other properties it wouldn't encroach the pavement as frequently.

Investigation: Completed (Reported to a third party) - Thank you for your enquiry. We have notified the landowner that it is their responsibility to cut this vegetation back. Due to birds nesting in the hedge, they will cut back the outer hedge away from the footpath and will cut the rest of the hedge after the nesting season has finished.
