A few weeks ago I reported a hazard on Mill Lane near NN2 6RR which was a sunken box without a cover on the pavement just west of a pelican crossing along Mill Lane between Tolgate Close and the river. See photos ending 28 and 29. (I rang the out of hours number mentioned on the council website for reporting dangers on road and pavements).
The next day a yellow rubber cover had been placed over the hole which made it much safer (presumably pending the fixing of a permanent cover to the sunken box which has the controls for the pelican crossing.)
Now, the yellow cover has gone and there is a red bit of plastic laid down over the hole which isn’t suitable for purpose as does not cover the hole (see photo ending 7027.) It looks like part of a barrier you’d place upright around a hazard.
Please could you attend to the hazard and let me know when you have been able to make it safe for users of the pavement.

This cover is still here 4 months after the deadline you said it would be dealt with. It's slippery and an accident waiting to happen.
