Holly hedge blocking public footpath
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7582540.
The hedge is overgrown and is so wide it takes up half of the width. Public have to walk single file next to a very busy road. It is access to a GP surgery and is impossible for wheelchairs and buggies it is getting so narrow.

Investigation: Ongoing - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that the vegetation is the responsibility of the landowner. In accordance with the WNC Network Management Plan, we will contact the landowner and request they cut back their vegetation within 14 days of receipt of our correspondence. We will reinspect the vegetation to ensure they have complied.

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found) - Thank you for your enquiry. A Community Steward has assessed the location and carried out an immediate temporary repair. A permanent repair will be completed within 28 days.
