Investigating
Ivy overhanging path south side of Sycamore Road
Reported via desktop in the Overgrown Private Vegetation category anonymously at 17:47, Thursday 29 May 2025
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7634677.
It has become almost impossible to walk on the pavement on the south side of Sycamore Road, due to ivy overhanging the wall of the property on the corner with Main Road. As cars are often parked on the north side of the road, half on the pavement, pedestrians are forced to walk in the road, which is obviously dangerous, especially for those hard of hearing.

Unfortunately, although cut back promptly, it was not done well. A minimal job has been done, leaving a great deal of mess of leaves on the pavement at the time. The ivy has not been cut back sufficiently on the path nearest Main Road and not been cut back at all nearer to the Village Hall.
