  • Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to raise a concern regarding the road signage at the exit from the A45 to the Lumbertub Interchange roundabout.

At this location, there are three lanes approaching the roundabout. The two left-hand lanes have arrow signs, while the middle lane has no directional sign at all, and only the right-hand lane displays an arrow indicating a right turn. Unfortunately, there is no clear indication of which lane allows drivers to proceed straight ahead to rejoin the A45 after the roundabout.

This lack of clear lane guidance causes confusion for drivers, particularly for those unfamiliar with the area. It can also lead to sudden lane changes and hesitation, increasing the risk of accidents and congestion at this busy junction.

I would appreciate it if the Council could review the signage and road markings at this location to ensure that the correct lanes for continuing straight ahead and turning right are clearly indicated.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response and to any action that may be taken to improve safety and clarity at this junction.
