Multiple potholes and surface deterioration on Grange Road

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7682930.

Report that the recent repairs on Grange Road are failing due to the volume of traffic (caused by nearby schools). Multiple potholes re-opened along the length of the road and notable surface deterioration. Repeatedly told this is affecting the whole of Grange Road.

  • This issue was also reported at 7200649 and original reporter has called in to confirm that much of repair work on the road has been insufficient. Urgent inspection required.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 52 days.
