  • Large pothole. Double puncture to my passenger side wheels on my Mini at 445pm on Monday, 9th December 2025. Heavy traffic in both directions due to traffic problems at Towcester. Pulled into entrance to Oak Grove Farm. The farmer tells me that he sees an average of 5-6 punctures from that single pothole every week. While AA man present, two other cars hit pothole and one of the cars sustained a puncture. It cost me £300 to get a mobile tyre company out to repair. The tyre company representative (based in MK) told me that he had repaired previous cars from punctures in the same pothole. Tonight (24 hour later)Chris, the AA man phoned me to tell me that he had just received a call (430pm) form another Mini who had punctured in the same pothole. This is costing motorists thousands of pounds. It is clear from this thread that you have been aware of it for a long time. The uploaded photograph show not only the pothole but the remnant of another car's bodywork after hitting it.
