9 July 2025 Good morning, National Grid have now moved the pole and repaired and replaced the culvert pipe as you will see from my photographs.
Can you please get your jetting team back to clear the culvert all the way through. During the recent rain storm surface water was coming out of the drain by the field entrance by the bungalows up the lane, it was then causing the lane to flood, which is why I called your out of hours flood line on Sunday 6th July, I also had to call Anglian Water as the Sewer was overflowing probably due to the same surface entering the sewer in via another inspection chamber up the street.
The ongoing cost to WNC must be enormous with the re-occurring road damage due to surface , my last count is 28 visits this year alone.
Please review and action this is an access road used by parents, children & residents heading to and from our local school.
Thank you Paul Davey-Turner
