Tarmac pothole and five displaced granite cobbles from speed bump

Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category by Philip Radford at 15:16, Sun 22 June 2025

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7745986.

The speed bump outside 26 Edgehill Drive, tarmac pothole 3inches deep, plus five large granite cobble bricks have become removed from the block paving. The blocks have been placed by the kirb, the resulting hole is a danger and more blocks will come loose. The loose blocks may encourage vandalism. Please replace the blocks in keeping with the rest of the paving, rather than a repair with tarmac

  • What a terrible repair. The blocks were provided on the side but it was just filled with tarmac. Why not uninstall all of these bumps on the estate now if this is the course of repair.
