Just chasing an update on this issue as The top of the bush is overhanging and blocking out the street light along the walkway. The weeds both sides of the pathway are now obstruction the path even more which is making it a one person path.

Investigation: Ongoing (No Action Necessary) - Good morning. We apologise for the time taken for a response but we can categorically say the only area the council is responsible for is the footway itself and a small sliver halfway along the path. Our highways investigation officer has confirmed with us that the vegetation you have issue with is private.

Been in contact with Councillor Fiona Baker and requested an update as she is well converseredin this matter, which has been ongoing for some years. A resolution was made 6years ago that the electric board are responsible for part of the pathway vegetation and the County Council the other half. We have discussed at length with all relevant parties about this in the past in person and in writing. It's always been maintained over the year's albeit every 2/3 years by the council and electric board and now it is long overdue. It is large area with dangerous pyracantha bush that needs industrial action and removal. What will it take for action to be taken. Its becoming a litter magnet aswell and frankly it has a high footfall for school children.
