A large weed from private property is hanging over the public pathway, forcing pedestrians—mainly children—to either duck to avoid it or walk on the road.

Investigation: Ongoing (Reported to a third party) - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that the vegetation is the responsibility of the landowner. In accordance with the WNC Network Management Plan, we will contact the landowner and request they cut back their vegetation within 14 days of receipt of our correspondence. We will reinspect the vegetation to ensure they have complied.

Our Highways Inspector has assessed the location and on arrival the vegetation had been cut back, Your enquiry will now be closed. If for any reason you believe we have not attended the correct defect, please inform us by raising a new enquiry.
