Overgrown hedges

Reported via mobile in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 08:21, Wed 23 July 2025

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7919345.

The hedges on Hidcote Way are not maintained regularly enough. They become overgrown and enter into the footpath there are brambles and thorns that snag clothes and are dangerous for my 5 year old daughter.

We have tried to maintain them however due to not having a brown bin have nowhere to dispose of the rubbish. I don’t feel we should need to pay for a brown bin to maintain council property.

It is unfair these bushes are placed there by the council yet not looked after. Not only are they a hazard they look unsightly and I have had to complain about them not being kept before.

Please can they either be regularly (3-monthly) cut or removed completely.
