Incorrect road signage

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 7922371.

It has been 10 months since the market square reopened. There is still a large metal sign advertising it's move to commercial street car park. This encourages road sign fatigue on the approach to a busy roundabout with lots of other signs and makes it cluttered whilst also providing incorrect information.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 52 days.
