Tree growing at a 45 degree angle

Reported via mobile in the Parks/landscapes category by Ross McKenna at 22:16, Thu 14 August 2025

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8027650.

This small tree on billing road east just before the roundabout to Bougainville drive is growing at a 45 degree angle and needs to be propped up. The tree was only planted 1-2 years ago and seems to have either been planted too shallow or was damaged by storms.

If left to grow this will become an issue and the tree will need to be chopped down as it will grow across the path. Other new trees along the road have supports in place.

Updates

  • This is even worse now and now even assessed yet. It needs replanting deeper and re-staking.
