Overgrown bush reducing visibility coming out of the hill shop car park. Hard to see vehicles coming from both directions due to the bush. On both sides.

  • Investigation: Ongoing - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that the vegetation is the responsibility of the landowner. In accordance with the WNC Network Management Plan, we will contact the landowner and request they cut back their vegetation within 14 days of receipt of our correspondence. We will reinspect the vegetation to ensure they have complied.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the vegetation meets the criteria for a Priority 4 response. We will schedule vegetation clearance to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 is 59 days.

A qualified Highways Inspector has attended the location and carried out an immediate permanent repair / maintenance. Your enquiry will now be closed.
