Trees behind the factory are over hanging and causing flooding within factory due to gutters being blocked.

Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 15:49, Tue 9 September 2025

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8142805.

Hello. The trees at the back of the property are very overgrown and are causing issues with our drainage system. The guttering is becoming very blocked which is backing up into the factory, causing flooding within the building. I have marked one tree on the map but it is many trees within that area that backs onto the roundabout. We were needing someone to trim down the trees to stop this happening please.

  • March 2026 will be too late, that is the whole of winter that we will be flooding and further damage being caused. As you can see by the photos, this was this morning from the little rain we had over the weekend. Please could you bring the work forward as this is essential.

  • Further pictures from the weekend. I have previously asked but who will cover the cost of damage that is occurring in our factory from your trees that have been allowed to overgrow and cause flooding within our property. We work with large machinery which can be damaged due to this.

  • Hello. I was wondering if there was an update on when this will be completed. I understand you said completed within 26 weeks, currently working at 59 days but it has now been 12 weeks and the guttering is blocking and continues to cause a lot of damage within the factory. With the extra rain scheduled this will cause a lot of issues for us.

  • Hello, Is there an update as to when the trees will be cut back? We are still having daily issues with flooding when raining and with the recent cold weather, it has become more difficult.
