Vehicles driving against oncoming traffic

Reported via mobile in the Road Markings - Worn/Faded category anonymously at 21:41, Thu 18 September 2025

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8184979.

Two evenings this week I have been driving east (towards Billing) after dark on the A4500 where it crosses above the A43 just before the junction with Octogon Way The A4500 has 2 lanes East and one lane West. On both occasions I have encountered a West Bound car (towards Town Centre) in the middle east bound lane. This placed them head on with the east bound traffic in the right most lane.

The lane and stop markings around Octogon Way Junction are very faded and people are not seeing that there is only one lane westbound
