Blocked drain on the footpath towards subway between Abbey Street and Norton Road

Previously reported under reference 8265929 but you said you couldn't find it! Probably because it is hidden by so much weed! To clarify location. 1. Cross Abbey Street using pedestrian crossing near the end of Vicar Lane. 2. Infront of you is the Happy Chef 3. Turn right and take footpath down towards subway. (Photo 3) 4. In photo 2 a person is standing next to the drain that is being reported. 5. Photo 1 is of the drain. You will see it is totally full of mud and weed. When it rains this results in the subway flooding. Perhaps you will now be able to find the drain 4.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A Community Steward has assessed the location and we can confirm that the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.
