No road markings at junction from Eldon Way onto A428

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8356388.

The give way road markings from Eldon Wsy onto the A428, opposite the weigh bridge, are not clearly visible and need repainting. This could cause a serious accident, as vehicles (including vans and large lorries) do not always stop as they join the A428 from the industrial estate.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.
