Peppered with potholes for sometime

There are a number of shallow potholes on the approach to the roundabout in the outside lane. This is at the roundabout on the junction of Upton Way/Telford Way/Sixfields entrance. It is north of the roundabout and on the southbound road. They have been there for months and getting bigger and more of them.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.

    The road at this location (heading towards Edgar Mobbs Way junction) in lane two is breaking up badly causing a hazard braking and approaching the traffic lights / roundabout. Likely to cause a serious accident for cyclists / motorcyclists
