Road here has subsided

The road opposite the entrance to burial ground is subject to subsidence. It is so bad that it forces drivers onto the wrong side of the road. At this point it is dangerous as it is on the brow of the hill with limited visibility for oncoming vehicles. There are several other stretches of subsided road on the approach to the village east of this point which cause the same problems.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A Community Steward has assessed the location and we can confirm that the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.
