Kerb obstruction

81 Cameron Drive is located at the junction with Melrose Avenue. The house has converted the front garden for car parking. This is for cars and vans linked to the address.

There is no dropped kerb to facilitate vehicle access. To manage this there are 4 plastic kerb access ramps placed in the road. This is convenient for the residents but not convenient for road users as on the approach to the junction and with cars parked opposite they have been driven into.

It may be they are permissible with the local authority. That being the case I would be interested to know as this would save me money on seeking authority for an extension to my dropped kerb.
