Please fix this issue - kids trying to cross the road when it’s wet and there is a puddle / flooding.

This is unacceptable and it’s a very busy crossing, from two schools kids are always crossing / using this road. Please kindly escalate this issue.

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.

This is pathetic how do you expect kids and parents to cross the road when it rains, if this is not a high priority do we need to get councillors involved to escalate this issue???

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. We can confirm that we have been made aware of this issue. A works order has been raised which you can follow on FMS-8406399-1 and add updates. The expected completion date for these works will be 12/06/2026.
