Tunnel floods after new development
Reported via iOS anonymously at 18:38, Fri 14 November 2025
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8420898.
Tunnel bridleway now floods after rain, following developers building new houses nearby.
Residents who have lived 50 yards away for 40 years have never known the tunnel to be flooded, before the development was built. It now floods regularly and not just in heavy rain
Please can you work with the developers to address. Please note that this has been reported before and no action has been taken.
If necessary we will get a petition together and make a complaint to our local MP
And if someone gets hurt using the bridleway (especially when the surface water freezes in winter) please don’t say that you were not warned
