Thank you for the drain blockage update. Perhaps I wasnt clear with my original message. The toilets on the ground floor of our property no longer flush as a result of the road drain blockage - we have already had the drains on our property blown through twice and it has been confirmed the issue is with the main drain on the road. The drains on a neighbouring bungalow occupied by an elderly coupIe are c. 1 m higher than our groundfloor drains so at some point soon we will start having their waste entering our property. I am more than happy to clean the road drain out using a third party contractor and I will submit the invoice for payment within 28 days or West Norethampton Council can resolve the blockage within 5 working days. 26 May 2026 is not acceptable.

Thank you for your advice. Anglia water have already been contacted and inspected the property. The issue of the toilets not functioning occurs after heavy rainfall and it is thought that we have grey water blocked by the issue i have raised 2 weeks ago backing up into the sewage system. As previously explained I will proceed with securing a third party contractor to clear the drain and advise you of the invoice for payment if this matter is not resolved in the coming week. kind regards
