With the number of HS2 HGV’s continually using the A361 these potholes are getting significantly worse. Due to their location being parallel to the central bollard they cannot be avoided. The weight and speed of traffic also causes excessive noise and vibrations to mine and others properties. Can you please escalate this repair as the HS2 traffic through Charwelton is a constant nuisance.

Please see photos taken today. Potholes are getting worse by the day. Disturbed sleep as our house vibrates as lorries are unable to avoid the potholes. Also a trip hazard as is on the road crossing for pedestrians. Lots of elderly residents in the village. Would be terrible if someone was to trip/stumble and injure themselves.

I understand these have been assessed as a priority 4 repair (probably due to their size), but due to their location on the busy A361 the hundreds of hgv’s that pass through the village daily cannot avoid them. Subsequently they are getting worse and the impact on local residents due to the excessive noise and the significant vibrations from early morning to late at night is extremely annoying. In my property I now have cracks appearing in the upstairs walls/ceilings which is now an added annoyance. Can you please raise the priority of these pothole repairs.
