Damaged Carriageway

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8465548.

Several of the blocks at the edge of the carriageway outside the factory, opposite the junction of Newington Road, roughly 5 meters down from the end of the scaffolding currently in place, have become completely loose. Adjacent tarmac has also eroded. This defect does not appear to have been raised under the existing report contrary to your previous response.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.
