Large Pothole in middle of the Road
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8472272.
Resident has reported concern of large pothole on Park Avenue North, near number 125, pothole is 30cm wide and 10cm deep. Concern as large vehicle, lorry are making the hole wider and deeper, please investigate, thank you

Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.

Various new potholes have appeared on this stretch of road from The Drive to the traffic lights at the roundabout. They are impossible to avoid, especially in the dark and require an urgent investigation.

There are now several growing pot holes on this stretch of road. Some deep and getting deeper by the day with this wet and cold weather, they’ve deteriorated a lot in this past week alone. This section needs to be re examined and re evaluated for repair sooner please

As indicated previously via a reply that these potholes to be completed by 10th February this did it happen. Could you please provide an update on when these potholes will be repaired. Thank you

Hello, why has the date on this repair moved by 4 months? On 3rd February WMN confirmed - The expected completion date for these works will be 10/02/2026.

The original ticket was to make the area safe, the new ticket is to carry out permanent works, we apologise for the misunderstanding.

These require URGENT repair. They are literally stopping traffic now as smaller cars can't drive over them they are so large and deep. The council must do a temporary repair. June is not an acceptable goal for a fix.

These potholes are now causing the following… 1. Cars are now either swerving to the opposite side of the the carriage way or getting close to parked cars to avoid them. 2. As I live directly opposite to the potholes a can hear cars front underside bumpers been catching as the go through, I think sooner or later I will be finding bumpers on the side of the road. 3. From my front room can now hear thumping echoing to my downstairs front room. 4. Small stone are now accumulating by parked car the have been thrown up from these pothole. 5. The whole length of park avenue north now needs to be reassessed. As stated previously June repairs is not acceptable
