A second large pothole in the middle of the road

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8484936.

There are now 2 large deep potholes in the middle of the section of road just beyond the reservoir around the bend (heading towards Upper Boddington). I note the other pothole has been reported. It is now becoming a slalom course on this road to/from Upper Boddington and exceedingly dangerous/damaging if falling into these in the dark, particularly for motorcycles.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Scheduled - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 12 days.
