Enormous pot hole

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8492472.

This section of road now has numerous very dangerous potholes. I have seen a near accident this morning from traffic swerving to avoid the potholes. THIS is URGENT. Repairs must be made to this road before an accident occurs.

    I can confirm that this pothole is a whopper. Every year multiple potholes appear at this location near the stream which flows under the road. Until the drainage is fixed properly this will continue.

  • Investigation: Completed (Fixed on site) - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, a temporary repair will be completed and marked up in yellow within 28 days. A permanent repair will be undertaken within a further 28 days of the temporary repair.
