Investigating
Pothole and surface deformation
Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 16:50, Tuesday 2 December 2025
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8493044.
The road surface has sunk at this location so that there is ridge which catches the underside of vehicles with low suspension. This used to cause just scratches to the road, but as the subsidence has worsened (probably with increased use due to the A43 roadworks) it is now bad enough for potholes to result from the damage to the surface.
