Huge pothole in the middle of the road

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8498657.

The road from the a5 to Greenacres always disintegrates at this time of year however there is a massive pothole which I’ve marked. I didn’t see it in the dark and it has damaged my alloy. It’s so dangerous as it’s already a small road so unable to swerve to avoid.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 12 days.
