Badly damaged/ eroding road at entrance to private driveway and various very deep potholes

There are very bad potholes and an extremely damaged road edge at the entrance to my property causing problems for vehicles trying to enter the driveway (no matter how slowly). There are a number of very deep potholes along with previous road repairs which are also badly damaged/ tarmac has been removed. This terribly poor state of the road is particularly with a 50m stretch, from 12 Moreton Road to 7 Moreton Road. This has been the case for a couple of years at least. This Steet Doctor system only allows 3 photos to be uploaded otherwise I'd have attached more. The Morton Road is one of the few main roads into/ out of the village and needs resurfacing desperately.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 12 days.
