Pothole just after roundabout
Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8506421.
There's a pothole that sits away from the curb in your line of driving so difficult to avoid, particularly in dark. Has cause damage to tyre of my car. Needs to be reviewed to prevent potential damage to someone else's car

I am writing to you regarding the terrible state of the roads in and around daventry. i have just had two new front tyres on my car due to bulges caused by pot holes. two days later, whilst driving around a roundabout, i have hit yet another deep pot hole which has now caused another bulge. this has now cost me nearly £800 due to the conditions of the roads in my local town. i had no other choice but to drive through the pot hole as another car was driving on the inside of me, i had nowhere else to go! the other pot holes happened when it was dark which meant they weren’t visible on the roads. please can you advise where i go from here as i cannot afford to keep replacing my tyres and would like to know how i get compensation for this? i am unable to take a photo of the latest pot hole due to it being on a busy roundabout but the i can provide the location of it.

I have also just noticed that this was reported five days before the incident in my own car. Clearly the pot hole had not been addressed, despite causing damage to someone else’s car. Consequently, the damage to my car is due to this not being responded to quick enough. The incident happened on the 10th of December.
