9 foot hole

This massive pot hole is eight feet long and three feet wide. It is causing cars to swerve across the central white line to avoid it, risking contact with cars coming from the opposite direction. It has formed where there is inadequate run off for rain water and is very dangerous. While taking my photos I saw two cars hit this hole violently and at speed. This is an accident waiting to happen and needs urgent attention.

A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 2 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 7 days.
