Blocked drain caused by leaves

The drain has become blocked again due to falling leaves blocking it. In heavy rain this causes a huge puddle. This part of the road doesn’t have the road sweeper clearing up the leaves so they turn into mush with cars driving over them.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.
