Blocked drain

The drain opposite Monkswood is blocked once again. This happens regularly, and regularly the council says it has attended to the problem. Whatever has been done in the past does not seem to be a permanent fix. Maybe the drain is broken? Is it possible to ensure it is fully clear both up- and down-stream of this point? When it is blocked as it is now the water flows along the road across the entrance to Hazelwood. This damages the road surface and is clearly hazardous in freezing weather.

  • Investigation: Completed (Duplicate) - Thank you for your enquiry. We can confirm that we have been made aware of this issue and a works order has been raised on a routine safety inspection. The expected completion date for these works will be 03/03/26
