39.5 inch pothole on junction of Fairfield road right near to the school and shows size by the tape measure if zoomed in on

The pothole has been growing over the last few months and now it has got even bigger and become more of a risk to road users due to loose rock as shown in the picture and the size of the pothole. The rest of the road of Wallace and Fairfield road follow suite with poor road conditions due to the multiple potholes and the fact it is right near the school so it is subjected to high traffic and can become a threat to life due to the damage it could cause to a car

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 3 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 28 days. Our current average response time for a Priority 3 repair is 12 days.

    Potholes still Remain un repaired. So many loose rocks. Please can this be looked at up and down the whole of Wallace and Fairfield Road. The school traffic only makes this worse!

A works order has been raised which you can follow on FMS-8517962-1 and add updates. The expected completion date for these works will be 05/01/2026.
