With reference to report 8452153 which has now been closed.

The road closed sign has been taken away but the sand bags have been left behind.

  • Thanks for suggesting I report under section "Abandoned road signs or cones after works". I have now discovered this option only appears after selecting the "Signs" section first.

    I'm confident I'll be using this option in the future unless you can implant some common sense into the sign contractors :-)

A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location, and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, this defect does not meet the investigatory levels for a repair.
