Several Large potholes by the turning into Volvo

The potholes are extremerly large and dangerous.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.

  • On Friday 19th December (between 21.15 - 21.30), my vehicle suffered a cracked alloy wheel (off-side front), which later resulted in a slow puncture due to hitting the series of deep potholes in this area. Since the incident, I’ve spent considerable time and money travelling back and forth to tyre and wheel specialists in order to rectify the problem, which has been finally resolved today (Tuesday 23rd December). The road surface in this area is not suitable at all, and I’m sure that I won’t be the only one that this happens too along the Bedford Road, Northampton - in my opinion, it needs a repair immediately, and I will be seeking compensation for the time / damage (and money spent), to make my vehicle roadworthy again…
