Damaged post /sign direction

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. ref: 8537917.

This sign is being held up by one post only and is facing slightly in the wrong direction. This road is experiencing a high volume of heavy vehicles (>7.5 tonnes) attempting to access furnace lane . The second post was damaged some time ago and has not been repaired /replaced causing potential hazards

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks. Our current average response time for a Priority 4 repair is 59 days.
